FAQs

What things am I NOT allowed to put out with my trash?

Lithium Batteries, Liquid Paint, Tires, Hazardous Materials, Animal Carcasses, and Products Containing Freon

What time does my trash need to be out?

Our daily schedules are subject to change so we ask that you have trash out by the curb by midnight before your scheduled pick up day. We try to keep things as consistent as possible and do our best to notify of any major changes due to holidays, weather, or maintenance via text notifications but it’s best to have your trash out the night before to make sure you aren’t missed.

What do I do if my trash is not picked up?

Double check that your bill is not overdue and that your trash was out by midnight the night before. If neither of those apply, text/call/email us as soon as possible so we can make it right!

do you take things not in the trash can?

Yes, our collectors will take trash that is not in the the trash can if it is set out by your trash can so DO NOT place items near your trash can if you do not want them disposed. We are NOT liable for disposing of items that have been placed too close to the can that look like they are set out for pick up. If there are special circumstances and items need to be by your can for some reason and are not to be disposed, you need to let us know by 3 PM the day before your pick up day.

do you take appliances?

Yes! We do accept most appliances. The exceptions would include things that are too heavy for one worker to load or products containing Freon (if you have something like a dehumidifier that has had the Freon drained, let us know and we can get rid of the emptied appliance for you). Additional charges may apply.

Does my trash need to be bagged?

It is best to have trash bagged but if it is in one of our trash cans, it can be loose. However, if loose trash gets stuck to the bottom of your can, it may not be disposed of. Heavy duty trash bags or light weight trash in light duty bags are always appreciated.

Do you take christmas trees?

Yes!

Do you take old TVs, stereos and/or computers?

Yes we do but please advise us of your intention before your scheduled pickup. Depending on size and weight, an additional charge may apply.

May I dispose of paint in my trash?

Yes but it HAS to be dried out. Either leave the lid off or use kitty litter to dry it out. Liquid paint is NOT accepted.
